The Career Theory Training™

**Due to COVID-19 all workshops, trainings and retreats have been re-imagined into interactive Zoom based trainings until further notice**

Our training focuses on the theoretical processes for utilizing career counseling techniques to effectively help your students understand and reach their goals.

This training is created and provided by Counselors for Counselors. We understands the unique needs of your diverse student population and created a targeted training to address the unique needs of high school and college counselors.

Techniques utilized will help students “Clarify the Path” in accordance with Guided Pathways initiatives in California.  

Due to COVID-19 this training is only being booked for the online Zoom version until further notice. We are open to discussing potential in-person trainings provided they are outdoors, socially distant with masked and vaccinated participants. 

Our training is offered in three formats:

1.  One Day (8 hours): This option covers a comprehensive career counselor theoretical training along with effective implementation techniques. 

2. Two Day (16 Hours) This option covers everything in the One Day training and more! Covering almost all of our content. 

2. Live Zoom Training (8 or 16 hours) Our online training offered LIVE through Zoom is an interactive training utilizing Zoom breakouts and active engagement. Participants should expect to participate the entire time. The training is offered over 2-4 days in  4 hours sessions. We don’t recommend more than 4 hours sessions at a time on Zoom.

Our training will be curated specifically to meet the needs of your institution and will include 1 year of access to our online resource portal. 

We are proud to be a National Career Development Association (NCDA) Select Continuing Eduction Provider and this training can be used for the NCDA Credential Continuing Education hours.

*Reduced add-on rates available for Counseling Graduate Students, Counseling Interns, and SDICCCA Interns.

Final pricing depends on the number of participants and the location of the training.

*Required Prerequisite: All participants must have a Masters Degree or higher in Counseling, School Counseling, Educational Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related degree or be a graduate student in a Counseling Masters level program.

*This training is available in a format for High School Counselors.
